If you’re heading to the mountain, BLK & BLU Society is your lane.

  • Organized ski and ride meetups throughout the weekend
  • Meetup times and locations shared in the app
  • Focused on shared energy, not competition

What to know:

  • Best for riders comfortable on blue runs and above
  • Confident beginners are welcome
  • Lift tickets required. Heavenly is the closest mountain.
  • Heavenly is walkable via gondola and accessible by free shuttles

New to skiing or snowboarding? Book a lesson. It changes everything.


4. Day-One Beginners: Lessons Are the Move

If this is your first time on the mountain, start with a lesson. Full stop.

  • Lessons cover stopping, turning, lift use, and mountain etiquette
  • Equipment rentals can be added during booking
  • A beginner-area lift ticket is included with your lesson
