Weekend Itinerary*

THURSDAY MARCH 8th

  • Meet & Greet 7:00pm – 9:00pm
    • Meet up with early arrivals at Harrah’s Casino Center Stage featuring a live band, drink specials and ice breakers.

FRIDAY – MARCH 9th

  • Snow Day 8:00am – 4:00pm 
    • Take in a snow adventure at Heavenly Mountain, Ski, Board or Tub. Attendees also can check out Tahoe’s other activities including; snowmobile, ice skating, carriage rides, shopping, spas, casinos and more
  • BlackOut Registration 5:00pm – 8:00pm – Harrah’s 16th Floor
    • Official registration opens at Harrah’s. 16th Floor Harrah’s. Pick up your registration packs; and register for the scavenger hunt. Address: 15 Highway 50, Stateline, NV. After 8pm text 323-929-7660 to confirm late registration location.
  • Meet & Greet 5:00pm – 8:00 pm
    • Located in the Summit Room on Harrah’s 16th Floor. The Summit room is an intimate 2 story room with a fireplace and a view of Lake Tahoe.
    • Guests participate in an ice breaker called Nuts & Bolts and are encouraged to meet fellow attendees of BlackOut Weekend.  Each attendee is given a nut or bolt and they are then tasked with finding their match. Win drink tickets for those that find their match and every Nuts & Bolts participant is entered in our raffle for prizes.
    • Guests also enjoy a variety of complementary appetizers, cash bar and a DJ to start the festivities
  • Cliché Cigar Lounge: Sip & Smoke 5:00pm – 8:00pm
    • Located on the 16th Floor Cliché is Lake Tahoe's most elegant and exciting cocktail lounge and cigar bar. This elegant and classy lounge features unique brands of cigars, hand-made cocktails and a large selection of wines, beers, cognacs, champagne, single malt scotches and vintage ports
    • In addition to meeting their fellow attendees, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of cigars as well as partake of the extensive cognac and rum select.
  • BlackOut Flashing Lights 9:00pm – 12:00am - XHale
    • Join us at our Kick Off Party Friday night– Wear your black and be prepared to flash and glow as we party to music from the 90s to now.  27 Highway 50, Stateline, NV 4 minute walk. Located between hotel and CVS.

SATURDAY – MARCH 10th

  • Snow Day 8:00am – 4:00pm
    • Take in a snow adventure at Heavenly Mountain, Ski, Board or Tub. Attendees also can check out Tahoe’s other activities including; snowmobile, ice skating, carriage rides, shopping, spas, casinos and more.
    • BlackOut Snowboarding Lesson 9:30am California Lodge. Take the BlueGO shuttle stop to California Lodge. Plan on depating the hotel by 8:00am to arrive in time to get equipment and check in.
  • BlackOut Heavenly Lunch & Day Party 12:00pm – 3:00pm – California Lodge
    • Attendees take a break from snow activities for a Plei Day Party. In addition to music from our featured DJ, group and board games are also available. Cocktails and lunch available for purchase. Take the BlueGO shuttle stop to California Lodge give yourself at least 30 minutes due to stops. Skier and Boarders follow the trail map for directions to California Lodge.
  • Venus vs Mars & Happy Hour 6:00pm – 8:00pm
    • It doesn’t have to be a battle! Enjoy lively conversation with other participants answering questions and sharing the real, real about the opposite sex. Cocktails and food available for purchase. Cabo Wabo Cantina Harvey’s located in tunnel between Harvey’s and Harrah’s.
  • ICE @ Club PEEK 11:00pm – 3:00am. Break out your best club wear and party the night away. Table/bottle service starts at $450 if interested let us know. PEEK is located inside Harrah’s Hotel & Casino

SUNDAY – MARCH 11th

  • Brunch Meet Up group check in 12:00pm – 12:30pm - Meet up with fellow attendees for brunch at the Forest Buffet on the 18th floor of Harrah’s Hotel & Casino.

Getting Around Heavenly & Lake Tahoe
BlueGO Heavenly ski shuttles include seven different routes in the Stateline area of South Lake Tahoe, California and Stateline, Nevada. The shuttles pick up at each of our signed shuttle stops. Please allow extra time when riding the shuttles during holidays and Saturdays, as they are in peak demand during these periods.

Details:

  • BlueGO Heavenly ski shuttles make stops at most major lodging properties, including all six casinos with connections to the South Tahoe Express Reno airport shuttle and to Heavenly's base facilities: the California Base Lodge, the base of the Gondola at Heavenly Village, and Stagecoach and Boulder Lodges in Nevada.
  • The shuttles pick-up at each stop, typically every 15 to 30 minutes, weather permitting. Look for the white BlueGO Heavenly shuttle stop signs or check with the front desk at your lodging property for Heavenly Ski Shuttle details.
  • Express shuttle service is also available from the Heavenly Gondola to the California Lodge daily via the Orange route.
  • All shuttles are free, wheelchair accessible and can accommodate bicycles. Shuttles are open to all riders and generally operate from late November to early May.

Getting to Heavenly From Reno/Tahoe Airport:
South Tahoe Express provides shuttle service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and South Lake Tahoe Resorts and Casinos. Multiple daily departures are offered each way with service to South Lake Tahoe

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens if I loose my wristband? Event wristbands are required for admission to the events. If you loose your wristband you will be responsible for purchasing a new wristband.

  • Are there still discount rooms available? No, but you can use a travel consolidator like Kayak.com. Our host hotel is Harrah's and the 2nd hotel is Harvey's.

  • How do I get from the Reno airport to the hotel? Southtahoeexpress.com offers shuttle service from Reno airport to South Lake Tahoe, the price is $29.75 one way or $53.00 for round trip.

  • If I can no longer attend the trip, can I get a refund? No, but you can transfer your package to someone else before March 1, 2018. After March 1st there is a $50 transfer fee.

  • What should I pack?
    • waterproof shoes
    • gloves, hats, and scarves
    • heavy coat
    • snow-wear (ski pants, thermal shirt, sweaters/sweatshirts, snow socks, etc.)
    • sunglasses/shades (if the sun reflects of the snow, it is very bright)
    • sunscreen (if you are not properly covered, the sun reflecting off the snow can cause sunburn)
    • party/club attire for Saturday evening
    • ALL BLACK plus glow in the dark or flashing lights accessories
    • bathing suit for a Saturday dip in the jacuzzi to sooth sore muscles
